Ho ho ho! It’s a special Twilight edition of the popular Ballan Lions Market, with stalls, live music and a visit from the man in red himself.
On any Saturday morning Ballan’s main street is a busy place, welcoming locals for their weekly shop, along with the many day trippers who take their weekend drive through beautiful Ballan.
But it’s never busier than on the first Saturday of each month, when the Ballan Lions Community Market lines Inglis Street with stalls ranging from flea market to upmarket.
Second hand goods and collectables, fresh produce, local crafts – it’s all here, and at prices you’d expect at a country market.
It’s a super-friendly and fun vibe, and a great tie in with a visit to Ballan’s much-loved op shops at either end of the street.
Ballan Market is coordinated by the Ballan Lions Club, and they are always on the lookout for new stallholders.
