Visit Bacchus Marsh, Victoria

With its stunning Avenue of Honour welcoming city visitors off the Western Freeway, Bacchus Marsh puts its best foot forward as a bustling rural centre that hasn’t forgotten its gorgeous natural setting.

The Avenue’s orchards and farm gate market stalls highlight the region’s fresh produce, with picking season each year drawing thousands who take the opportunity to purchase, or pick their own strawberries, cherries and stonefruits at local farms.

In town, Bacchus Marsh has an array of dining options with a variety to rival some inner city suburbs – Japanese, Indian, Vietnamese, Middle Eastern; it’s all here – while its proximity to Lerderderg State Park, Wombat State Forest and Werribee Gorge make the Marsh a great jumping off point for exploring some of Victoria’s more rugged trails.
