Come down to the Village Green in Bacchus Marsh for the Remembrance Day ceremony to mark the sacrifices of armed forces and civilians during times of warfare.
On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, one minute of silence is observed across Australia to mark the cessation of hostilities on the Western Front during WW1 after over four years of warfare. The moment in 1918 when hostilities ceased was originally named Armistice Day.
Note: Road closures will be in place on Main Street between Young Street and Graham Street from 10am – 11.30am.
