Gordon FarmGate is all about local flavour

Those seeking a true taste of Moorabool, take note: Gordon FarmGate sources all of its produce from Victoria’s West - some of it as close as just a few hundred metres away, with many local hobby gardeners bringing in their excess veggies to sell.

This much-loved volunteer-run store operating from a former wedding chapel in the heart of Gordon, is on a mission to create a resilient local food economy that unites local producers with loyal customers.

And that’s great news for us: every Saturday and Sunday morning the FarmGate opens to present a stunning range of produce from the local area, including meat, vegetables, fruit, nuts and eggs.

There’s also freshly-baked sourdough and pastries, local milk, delicious cheeses and artisan jams and preserves, with continual updates to the product range according to what's available from local growers and producers.

Come on in and say hello to the friendly volunteers and stock up on delicious, local produce.
