Gordon Bar Room Gallery highlights local creative community

Adjoining the popular Gordons of Gordon cafe is vibrant regional art space showcasing the creative talents of the local area.

The Gordon Bar Room Gallery takes its moniker from the building’s previous life as a hotel, with the cellar trapdoor still in place as evidence.

The gallery was established by a group of local creatives to showcase artwork from Gordon, Mt Egerton, Ballan and surrounds, and has since hosted collections of everything from still life paintings, contemporary drawings and hand-made cards to rustic pottery and sculptures.

The gallery is open every Saturday from 10am – 2pm or by appointment, and entry is free.
