Pick your own sunflowers at The Farmgate Shop, Elaine

No trip through the south western pocket of Moorabool is complete without a visit to The Farmgate Shop, just outside Elaine.

And along with quality produce, the Farmgate Shop has a 21-acre field where you can pick your own gorgeous sunflowers during blooming season.

It makes for a great day out: run wild through a sea of beautiful sunflowers, pick a few to take home and stock up on the freshest local produce while you’re there.

Blooming season is usually February to March, but this can change with the weather, so be sure to check the Farmgate Shop’s Facebook page for up to date opening hours and entry fees.
