Bacchus Marsh Scouts Centenary Celebration

  • Bacchus Marsh Scout Hall 88 Wittick Street Darley, Victoria, 3340 Australia (map)

Bacchus Marsh Scouts are celebrating an incredible 100 years of Scouting in the local community, with a big family day marking the journey from 1926 to 2026.

The celebration will bring together a century of memories, stories and adventure, with walk-through historical displays, video presentations and Gang Show performances looking back at the people, places and experiences that have shaped Scouting in Bacchus Marsh. Former Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and Leaders are especially encouraged to come along, but the day is open to everyone.

There’ll be plenty to do as well, including pioneering and orienteering activities, Archery Tag, a rock-climbing wall, abseiling wall, children’s crafts, emergency service displays, live music and local market stalls. Food, refreshments, coffee and ice cream will also be available throughout the day.

Whether you have a family connection to Scouting or simply want to see what it’s all about, this is a chance to celebrate 100 years of adventure, practical skills, friendship and community service in Bacchus Marsh.
