Bacchus Marsh Strawberry and Cherry Festival 2026

  • Bacchus Marsh 197 Main Street Bacchus Marsh, VIC, 3340 Australia (map)

Celebrate the beginning of Victoria’s growing season when the Bacchus Marsh Strawberry & Cherry Festival returns for three huge days this November.

One of Bacchus Marsh’s biggest annual celebrations, the festival pays tribute to the region’s rich agricultural heritage and its famous fresh produce, filling the town centre with market stalls, food trucks, live entertainment, carnival rides and family activities. Fresh strawberries and cherries are naturally a highlight, with local farms also opening for fruit picking at various times across the festival weekend.

The festivities begin on Friday evening with food trucks, entertainment and the carnival at Village Green, before the festival expands across Bacchus Marsh on Saturday and Sunday. Main Street and Graham Street come alive with market stalls, while the Public Hall hosts CWA Devonshire teas and community arts activities. Around Eddie Toole Park you’ll find family attractions including an animal farm, face painting, Scouts boulder-wall climbing and smaller carnival activities. Roving Morris dancers will also be getting visitors involved in workshops.

Saturday is the festival’s biggest day, with entertainment continuing into the evening and fireworks scheduled for 9.30pm–9.45pm. A shuttle bus will operate between Bacchus Marsh railway station and the festival areas on Saturday and Sunday, with a gold coin donation welcomed.
