After very wet weather forced the cancellation of the October market, Ballan Lions Community Market is taking its Pink Up celebration into November instead — and the pink theme is very much still on.
The regular monthly market will line Inglis Street with its usual mix of local stalls, bargains, food and community atmosphere, with stallholders encouraged to decorate their stalls in pink and visitors invited to wear pink too.
The rescheduled market will continue to raise funds for Pink Up Your Town – Ballan in support of the McGrath Foundation, with every dollar raised by the market donated to the cause.
There’ll also be a Fuel Voucher Raffle, with two $50 fuel vouchers to be won. Tickets are $2 each or three for $5, with the raffle drawn at the conclusion of the market.
So if October’s weather put a dampener on the original plans, November is the chance to try again — shop local, support the stallholders and help turn Inglis Street pink for the morning.
