Explore some of Blackwood’s darker history after sunset with a twilight cemetery walk and paranormal investigation presented by Mysteries Lost In History Paranormal Exploration and the Blackwood District Historical Society.
The evening begins with a guided walk through Blackwood Cemetery, where the earliest surviving headstone dates back to 1855. Along the way, hear stories of some of the well-known, infamous and sometimes tragic people buried there, with the focus firmly on the history and lives behind the graves.
The group then moves to the Blackwood District Historical Society Museum, where the paranormal investigation begins. Guests will be shown how to use the supplied ghost-hunting equipment before conducting their own experiments around the museum. The experience also includes the story of a Bible in the collection pierced by a fatal bullet, and an optional closing ritual at the end of the evening.
