Chrissie’s Timeless Treasures is putting a pink twist on one of its popular Chrissie’s Gatherings this October, with the regular stitching get-together helping raise funds for Pink Up Ballan and the McGrath Foundation Cancer Care Nurses.

Chrissie hosts her Gatherings throughout the year at Ballan Mechanics Institute Hall, bringing together patchwork, quilting and stitching enthusiasts for a relaxed social day, often accompanied by visiting makers and pop-up shops. The October Gathering will feature Gail Pan Designs and Craftaways. 

For this special Pink Up Ballan edition, $5 from every $45 booking will be donated to the fundraising charity tin. The day’s usual 10 raffle tickets will also be available for $10, with all raffle proceeds donated, and guests will have the opportunity to purchase additional tickets.

There’ll also be a Pink Up Trading Table filled with pink items available to buy, with 50% of sales from the table going towards the fundraiser.

It’s a lovely opportunity to spend a day stitching and socialising while adding to Ballan’s month-long fundraising effort.
