The film celebrates the resilience of farmers’ wives and community support amidst heartbreak, set against the captivating backdrop of rural Victoria. Just a Farmer is a moving film that tells the story of farmers’ challenges, focusing on the importance of mental health in rural and regional communities. It portrays the reality of grief, loss, and resilience, making it a film that resonates deeply with audiences.
A free BBQ dinner, supplied by Rowsley Fire Brigade will be available from 6pm with the screening commencing at 7pm.
Following the movie, a light supper and a Q&A panel of local identities and services including the Film Producer and main actor, Leila McDougall will be conducted.
