Bacchus Marsh SES is getting into the Halloween spirit with a family-friendly sausage sizzle, complete with food, kids’ activities and the chance to get a closer look at the local SES trucks.

There’ll be free lolly bags for the kids, mini face painting, games and activities, while the BBQ serves up sausages, corn on the cob and dim sims. The CWA will also be there with freshly baked scones and jam, adding something sweet to the afternoon.

The Marsh Mender Repair Café from Darley Neighbourhood House will be joining in from 11am–1pm, offering help with sewing, bike maintenance, knife sharpening and general household repairs — a great chance to fix something rather than throw it away.

Visitors can also meet the Bacchus Marsh SES crew, check out the trucks and have a chat, with funds raised on the day helping support essential SES vehicles and equipment.
