Contemporary poetry, live music and literary performance come together at the Ballan Mechanics Institute for a special edition of Melbourne’s long-running Thin Red Lines, presented as part of the Hide + Seek Arts Festival.

Co-curated by Thabani Tshuma and Georgia Kartas, Thin Red Lines has been creating a space for poets and multidisciplinary artists to experiment with language and performance for more than seven years. For its Ballan appearance, the pair have curated an intimate afternoon of poetic duets, music and literary performance, featuring WHELK – Manisha Anjali + Genevieve Fry, Skyscraper Stan, Taylor Bell, Xiaole Zhan, Koosha Ahmadi, Eloise Grills and Miranda Brockman.
