Moorabool has been lucky to welcome a slew of city refugees in recent years, some of whom have applied a lick of city style to new food outlets.
Which brings us to the Old Wallace Garage, a super-cute coffee and brunch place, also offering a nicely-curated selection of vintage books, records, furnishings and knick knacks.
Visit for dine-in or takeaway and discover a menu packed with home-made goodies made with local seasonal ingredients: delicious pies and quiches, toasties, cakes and a list of beverages headed up by sensational coffee.
The Old Wallace Garage is generally open Thursday to Saturday for breakfast to (earlyish) lunch, but the hours are subject to change, so be sure to check the latest posts on their Facebook page for updates. It’ll be worth it.
